EAGLE NEST LAKE IS NOW OPEN FOR ICE FISHING!
Beginning Sunday, January 16, 2022, Eagle Nest Lake will be open for ice fishing for walk on anglers only. There are no motirized vehicles allowed at this time due to current ice conditions. There are several pressure ridges present on the lake and anglers should take care to avoid these areas as they can having dangerous thin ice conditions.
Current ice conditions: Ice was measured on 1/15/2022. Ice thickness varies from 8-13 inches throughout the lake. The lake is open to fot traffic only. All activities on the lake are at your own risk.
It is suggested to only be on the ice during daylight hours.

Rent one of our pontoons, deep V-boats, or kayaks to try your luck on the beautiful Eagle Nest Lake. Or if you prefer the colder weather, ice fishing equipment rentals are available.

Boat rentals do not include the NM fishing license or the State Park pass.
Boats can be rented longer if the weather is good. Boat rentals include safety equipment and gas. The boats are launched into the lake and removed from the lake.
